Matthew Walker Pud Art - 22/12/09

Matthew Walker has joined forces this year with renowned food artist, Prudence Staite, to make the UK’s largest piece of Pud Art using Christmas pudding ingredients.

The picture - measuring a whopping three by two metres – took two weeks to complete and used the traditional 13 authentic Christmas pudding ingredients including 5,000 Turkish raisins, 1,000 grams of mixed spice and 3,000 grams of French glace cherries.

The picturesque Victorian winter scene was created in celebration of Matthew Walker’s birthday; the company has been based in Heanor in Derbyshire for 110 years this Christmas.
